Dremel’s EZ Change mechanism lets you quickly change between the seemingly endless array of bits and accessories without the use of any special tools. With the new 4200 High Performance Rotary Tool, you won’t lose much valuable time changing attachments, nor will you lose the confounded wrench!
The 4200’s EZ Change mechanism is a collet system that works by pulling back on two spring-loaded tabs on either side of the tool, releasing the collet’s grip. Releasing the tabs re-engages the collet, securely gripping the accessory’s shaft. The EZ Change mechanism is compatible with all Dremel accessories.
The 4200 is powered by a 1.6 amp motor with replaceable brushes. It features a variable speed dial allowing infinite adjustment anywhere from 5000 – 35,000 RPM and a separate on/off switch.
The new 4200 is available in a standard kit comes with a bevy of accessories including a circle cutter/straight edge guide, right angle attachment, detailer’s grip attachment and sanding/grinding attachment, to name a few. A Platinum Edition is also available. This kit includes all of the accessories in the standard kit as well as a flex shaft attachment and a deluxe case.
