The Heritage Traditional Computer Work Station – Desk and Hutch. Have you ever wanted a fashionable computer desk that is reasonable in size and well portioned to place all computer components, for ease of use? There are no other desks on the market that are similar to this project, so it is unique in that respect. I wanted something compact, yet functional for my daughter. Well that was my intentions when I set out to CAD draw up my plans. Furthermore, there were several other considerations that I had in mind, such as a minimum of materials needed; and easy of construction, that most any person with reasonable woodworking skill and patience could accomplish. This computer desk and hutch for the most part is completely laid out on a single sheet of 3/4” oak plywood. The materials for the drawers – hutch back and hardware must be obtained separately. I believe I have achieved my goal in accomplishing all the above requirements, and now these plans and list of materials are available for your use as you prepare for your next project.
