Cramped for workshop space? JET® offers woodworkers a solution with its BENCH™ top line of power tools that includes 10- and 12 in. miter saws, 10 in. jobsite table saw, 10 in. band saw, 8- and 10 in. planer/jointers, and a 12 in. variable-speed drill press.

When radial arm saws gave way to miter saws, they became the must-have benchtop saw for woodworkers, remodelers and builders. Great for cutting molding and trim, JET’s 12 in. Dual Bevel, Sliding Compound Miter Saw also is handy for cutting deck planks and posts. Fully featured, the 12 in. slider has a heavy-duty, 15-amp, 4,200 rpm motor with blade brake, a green Xacta Laser™ to follow the cut line and a die cast aluminum body for durability and easy transport. The saw features 10 preset miter stops from 45 to 60° and bevel stops at 0, 33.9, and 45° left/right.

The JET 10 in Jobsite Table Saw comes with a collapsible stand for easy storage and transport to the jobsite. Integrated rubber hand grips at the base of the saw provide support when moving the saw from stand to workbench. The saw’s 15-amp, 4000 rpm motor with soft start provides plenty of power for handling a variety of stock. Its 25 in. ripping capacity to the right is supported by a telescoping extension wing. Equipped with riving knife to help prevent kickback, the saw also provides rear extension outfeed support for sheet goods or other large work pieces. Maximum depth of cut at 90° is 3-1/16 in. and 2-1/2 in. at 45°.

Another great workshop addition is a planer/jointer, and the JET 10 in. Planer/Jointer is a great two-in-one machine for edge and face work. This maximizes the work space in the shop by handling multiple tasks. The planer/jointer has a 13-amp, 9000 rpm motor and two high-speed-steel cutter knives that deliver 18,000 cuts per minute (cpm) and 19.5 feet per minute (fpm). Maximum cut width is 10 in. and maximum depth of cut is 1/8 in for the jointer and 0.08 in for the planer.

The jointer’s table size measures 36 in. x 10-1/4 in., while the planers’ table is 10-3/4 in. x 10-1/2 in. The planer table with outfeed is 19-3/4 in. x 10-1/2 in. The JET planer/jointer’s fence is 4-7/8 in. H x 25 in. L and it tilts 0 to 45°. A rigid steel stand supports the machine and oversized ergonomic knobs provide ease of use and control.
