I am a new Popular Woodworking Magazine subscriber, but I have been getting and enjoying their emails with new products and woodworking tips for a little over a year. I currently work in the oil and gas industry and have traveled to many places around the world. Travelling is fun, but it is great to be at home working in my small shop. I am a novice at woodworking, but it is something I really enjoy and something I wish to become very good at doing. I have always been pretty good with my hands and building things. I enjoy figuring out how and why things are constructed the way they are. With these new tools, I want to begin with a few small projects, perhaps some picture frames and simple boxes and work my skill level up to things like tables, desks, and Grandfather clocks. The sky is the limit! Of course, my wife has already begun putting together her list of ‘honey-doos’! I would like to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to Popular Woodworking, Jet, Woodpeckers and Bessey for these wonderful tools that I know will open doors to many hours of enjoyment for years to come. – Roy
