Each year at Woodworking in America (WIA) there are prizes awarded in the marketplace. You know we have give-a-ways in the cards this year as well. But this year we upped our game – technically SawStop and JET upped our game, one great prize awarded to a WIA participant simply for attending the conference, and a second “cutting edge” machine to a lucky attendee of the marketplace. (Where else can you see and talk with manufacturers, get great information on any woodworking topic and walk away with a new table saw or band saw?)
If you’re coming to Winston-Salem for WIA 2014, your full-conference paid admission puts your name in the hat to win a SawStop Professional Cabinet saw. (Watch a video about the saw, here.) Woodworkers have talked about and discussed SawStop saws for years now and each year sales of SawStop table saws continue to grow. The innovation from SawStop doesn’t stop at the blade-break technology. There’s more such as the lock-down throat plate and the advances in dust collection, and a curious but effective (and secure) way of shipping saws all over the country while laid on its side. A chance to win is as close as signing up for the conference, which you can do here. The winner will be declared during the opening day Welcome Breakfast and Marketplace Sneak Peak – someone will be wearing a smile all weekend long.
JET, on the other hand, has graciously agreed to supply a woodworking machine to be given to marketplace attendees. A JET band saw (shown at left) will be given away to someone for simply attending the marketplace. Read more about JWBS-14SF saw here. While there you can see new products from both hand- and power-tool manufacturers, pick up new woodworking techniques, check out CNC machines and lasers and walk away with a new band saw. You cannot find a better value if you’re a woodworker at any level. A winner will be selected at 5:00 PM on Saturday – you must be in attendance to win!
These are two more reasons to travel to and attend Woodworking in America 2014 next month. Time is running short. Get registered today. Hope to see you there.
Here are some supplies and tools we find essential in our everyday work around the shop. We may receive a commission from sales referred by our links; however, we have carefully selected these products for their usefulness and quality.
