We may receive a commission when you use our affiliate links. However, this does not impact our recommendations.

If you get tired of checking in with this weblog to see if there are new entries, we now have a new way for you to read it , we’ll email it to you. Enter your e-mail address in the box at the top right of this page labeled “Free Updates” and click “Go.” That’s it; you’re done.

This isn’t a marketing tool. We’re not going to e-mail you anything except these weblog entries. Promise. And you’ll be able easily unsubscribe from the service whenever you get tired of my brand of drivel.

This weblog is a bit of a guinea pig in our publishing house right now. The good news is that we’ll be adding some more enhancements in the coming months. The bad news is that I’m sure that there will be glitches , so bear with us please.

There’s also a good reason to subscribe to the weblog right now. We have a new Woodworking Magazine product that we’ve been working on for a few months, and we will be announcing it first on the weblog. So if you want to be the first on your block to know…¦.

This is also a good time to remind you that you also can read this weblog as an RSS feed. If you’re like me and already get too much email, you can receive notifications in My Yahoo!, Google Reader, or any number of other news-aggregation tools. Just click the ‘subscribe via RSS’ link and follow the simple instructions.

If “RSS” is greek to you, I highly recommend you check it out. It will change your online experience by giving you more of what you like to read , faster. You can get a primer on RSS from Feedburner, a service that removes the geek-factor from RSS (for us and you). Leave a comment or shoot me an e-mail if you have a question or problem.

"We have a new Woodworking Magazine product. . ."

    Hmm. Subscriptions? Please!

Or a translated reprint of Roubo? That’d be nice, but I’d rather have a subscription. . .

RSS feeds are amazing. I’ve tried a few readers and I now use a free version of Awasu. It’s a great program and great for keeping your feeds organized.
