THIS TIMBER WAS GIVEN TO ME 5 MONTHS AGO.AND I DIDNT KNOW WHAT I WANTED TO MAKE WITH IT.TILL NOW,AS I HAD A FEW HOURS TO SPARE I MADE THIS.WILL ASK A LOCAL SHOP TO SEE IF THEY WOULD SELL IT FOR ME .AND WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS. THIS TABLE HAS NO SCREWS ALL TIMBER HELD WITH DOWELS AND PEGS.THIS HAS BEEN BOILED LINSEED OILED .A NICE FEATURE FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS A OLD ENGLISH COTTAGE.WILL LOOK NICE IN THEIR GARDEN..SOME FURNITURE I MAKE HAS TO BE RIGHT MEANING TO MATCH THEIR PROPERTY.THIS WOULD LOOK TERRIBLE IN A NEW BUILD HOUSE BUT NICE IN A OLDE WORLDE COTTAGE TYPE.GOOD THING WORKING WITH OAK IS THAT IF YOU SOAK IN LINSEED OIL IT OXADISES AND IT TIGHTENS THE JOINTS TO MAKE THE PIECE STURDY.OAK LOGS LIKE THESE DONT OFTEN COME MY WAY.MAYBE IT WAS LUCK.IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD OF COST IF I BOUGHT THIS TIMBER??!!
