As woodworkers we know who great wood is. We also know who important wood is in the construction of our homes. But most of us are not aware that wood can also be used as the principal material for building massive structures.The fact that wood can be relied on to erect tall building – even thirty story high, is fantastic. If we substitute some of the concrete and steel that is incorporated in traditional structure for new wood-base materials, we, according to Architect Michael Green, will make a cleaner and greener world.
