We reviewed Easy Wood Tools’ Easy Chuck in our June 2013 issue, and it was clearly an impressive piece with at least a half dozen features I’d never seen before. One knock, though, was the price. At $499, it was the most expensive chuck on the market.
Well, Easy Wood’s owner, Craig Jackson, has responded to price concerns. Thanks to some improvements in the manufacturing process, he’s been able to lower the price by $100. Starting today (July 1, 2013), you can purchase an Easy Chuck for $399.
Here are some supplies and tools we find essential in our everyday work around the shop. We may receive a commission from sales referred by our links; however, we have carefully selected these products for their usefulness and quality.
It looks like an innovative and well made piece of engineering. The price seems reasonable for what it is. I look forward to getting one. Keep up the good work!
